The City of Kemp, Texas is located in the southern end of Kaufman County at the intersection of Highway 175 and Highway 274, approximately 45 miles from Downtown Dallas. We are at the north end of Cedar Creek Lake , which is the fourth largest man made lake in Texas.
Kemp provides a quaint, small town life within easy distance of schools, shopping, medical services and recreational opportunities including Cedar Creek Lake.
