EDC Board
THE KEMP ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION IS A TYPE 4B BOARD COMPRISED OF SEVEN MEMBERS APPOINTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL.
The board is authorized to expend funds to promote economic growth by creating and retaining primary jobs within the city.
The Kemp EDC is financially supported by a ½ cent sales tax. Project expenditures require approval of the 4B Board and the City Council.
